Kris was born at Maury Regional Hospital to the proud parents of Sandy Masterson Hardison & William Gary Hardison Jr.  We were very young parents with lots of fears and lots to learn!  Kris was a healthy 7lb.14 oz./21" long.  His first word was Da Da (Daddy).  He began walking shortly after his first birthday.  Kris was always a happy baby, young boy and as we all know now grew up to be that same happy young man.  He went to elementary school at Riverside until he was in 3rd grade and then to Baker.  His love for baseball started at a very young age, but he began playing organized baseball at age 4.  When he was almost 5 he welcomed his younger brother, Brandon into the world and loved having someone new to play with! Kris was a great big brother.  Yea, they got in their little arguments but not very often.  He enjoyed working with Brandon practicing baseball and playstation games were always exciting.

Kris was a honor student through school.  He made an occasionaly "C" but not very often, Spanish always gave his some difficulty.  He went to Whitthorne middle school and played basketball and baseball there as a 6th and 7th grader and turned his focus to baseball after that.  He played summer ball for Coach Pick at Central the summer before he began his Freshman year.  Kris never had his heart in Central, asked to leave several times prior to his sophmore year.  Which at this point was very hard for him, for the love of his life would stay at Central.  He transfered to Spring Hill High, February of his Sophmore year.  This meant he had to play on the JV squad as a sophmore at Spring Hill.  We worried if this was going to be what was best for him.  He did well on the JV squad and we found he became more of a leader at this point.

If you asked Kris as he became the great teenager he was what was important to him, his answer would probably be Haley and Baseball.  He was a good christian kid though didn't talk about it much.  You would never doubt his love for God though.  He made good choices, never turning to drugs or alcohol.  He made our jobs as parents pretty easy.  Kris and Haley were the perfect couple and I am so thankful that he found true love at such a young age.  She was and always will be his EVERYTHING!  They dated for 3 1/2 years before he left this world to be in that heavenly place we will all work to get to.

I will continue as time goes on.....be patient... this isn't easy.
